Thomas Brayford Named a Just Peace Fellow for 2026–27

We're delighted to share that Thomas Brayford, who chairs and moderates our lunchtime series, has been accepted onto the Just Peace Fellowship for 2026–27.

The Fellowship brings together a cross-party, cross-sector cohort drawn from Parliament, public policy and civil society, united around a single aim: strengthening the UK's capacity to pursue peace through justice. Over the coming year, Thomas will take part in expert-led masterclasses, in-person mentoring, practitioner exchanges and quarterly Policy Labs, working through international law, diplomacy, conflict analysis, peace processes, nonviolent security, dialogue and public narrative alongside the rest of the cohort.

For Thomas, the Fellowship is a chance to build the knowledge, relationships and practical skills needed to champion approaches grounded in international law, human rights, multilateralism and nonviolence — and to help open up political space for peace with justice, security and equal rights for Israelis and Palestinians.

Congratulations also to the other 28 members of the 2026–27 cohort — we're glad Thomas will be learning and working alongside such a broad and serious group over the year ahead.
